Summer time!

While not exactly the most active website out there, it’s not dead either.

This is just a quick post to mention a couple of things. We now offer numbing on some piercings, although our stance is still that it is unnecessary, and not only complicates but generally works counter-intuitively in the majority of cases, e.g. making the piercing more painful.

Still, a high recent volume of people asking for numbing has made us reconsider our policy, as at the end of the day the client should have a say in the procedure. We will keep discussing the pros and cons of using various anaesthetics when you come in.

Oh, and here’s our new facebook group where we run special promotions not open to the general public. Sign up, and get cheap piercings every now and then!

Other than that, our new aftercare pamphlets are finally in stock, so come pick one up if you are interested in having a piercing.

Starting the new year early..

As of today, Body Mech’s new prices are taking effect; the new prices can be found on this site.
Overall, the new prices are lower than they have been; which we figure might help a little bit towards your recession Christmas budgets.
The new prices do not include aftercare solutions, but these can be bought separate, or we will happily inform you of alternatives.

Gift vouchers are available as always, and through November we will run a promotion where Christmas gift-vouchers will get 10% knocked off the price, i.e. a gift certificate for a £35 navel piercing will cost you £31.50..

Furthermore, we are introducing Price-matching.
If you can find the equivalent service/product locally (Southport area) for a lower price, and you can give us evidence of this, we will match that price. Please be aware this does not mean we will match any hair salons’ price for ear-piercing. This is because any gun-piercing is far inferior to a needle-piercing; and both equipment and jewellery costs a lot more done the professional way.

Summer’s in the House! ;)

And while it may not have blessed u with the most awesome weather the world has seen, it hasn’t been too bad has it?

It was time to do an image update, so we have added some new portfolio shots to our flickr pages, and as soon as I understand the new changes to wordpress (the client we use for this blog), I will put up an example or two on here. In the meantime, navigate to our flickr pages for some hot stuff..
